The Clinical Radiology Patients' Liaison Group (CRPLG) reports regularly to the Board of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology.
The CRPLG has produced a number of publications on general procedures and, with the British Society of Interventional Radiologists, on interventional procedures. The committee is in the process of producing leaflets about the more common radiological procedures. Lay and medical members are working together on pilot projects to form local patient groups for radiology departments. The CRPLG has produced a paper giving advice to trusts who wish to set up a local group.
