Workplace Based Assessments

A pilot of a number of workplace based assessment (WpBA) tools was conducted in twenty training schemes over the period June 2008 to February 2009. The results were analysed and a summary report published. The results then informed the definitive WpBA products that have now been introduced in all UK training programmes from August 2010, supported by an ePortfolio, which also went live at the same time.

WpBAs should be recorded in the trainee's ePortfolio but we have produced printable versions of the assessment forms to allow them to be completed on paper prior to being typed into the ePortfolio.  Forms and guidance can be found below.
