Applications are invited for the 2013 Kodak Radiology Fund Research Bursary. The Bursary is open to Fellows of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology holding appointments of any grade in the UK.
The Bursary of up to £5000 is intended for a research project furthering a radiological interest in the UK or abroad. Projects should be of at least 3 months duration.
Closing Date: Friday 7 June 2013
The Bursary will be awarded in two stages. Half the money will be awarded to the successful recipient once the final decision has been confirmed. The balance will be paid out upon receipt of the first interim report.

Assessment Procedure
An assessment panel nominated by the Royal College of Radiologists will consider applications. The decision of the assessment panel is final and binding. It is intended that the assessors' recommendations will be reported to the Specialty Training Board meeting of Friday 4 October 2013 for approval. Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application as soon as possible after this date.
Please note that an applicant may apply for only ONE of the following awards in any given year: Kodak Radiology Fund Bursary - Research; Kodak Research Fund Scholarship; Constance Thornton Fellowship; Pump Priming Grant. The assessment panel reserves the right to move an application into another award category if appropriate.
