Eligible Applicants: The Professorship is open to Members and Fellows of the Faculty of Clinical Radiology of the Royal College who hold either an NHS consultant post or an academic radiology appointment below the grade of professor in the UK. Applicants must have a proven research track record.

Value of Professorship: Up to £3000, funded by the publishers of Clinical Radiology

Purpose of Professorship: To stimulate and encourage trainees to undertake research through visits to a minimum of five UK training schemes

Form of Application: CV, description of applicant's research record, description of why the applicant would be suitable for appointment

Method of Assessment: Assessment panel nominated by the Royal College of Radiologists. Shortlisting applicants may be interviewed. Recommendation for appointment to be endorsed by the Specialty Training Board and the Board of Faculty.
