When you wish to purchase a place on an event via the RCR website, we need to know your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, credit/debit card number, credit/debit card expiry date and credit/debit card security code.
We gather this information to allow us initially to process your registration, to process any orders you may make and provide the places on the events you request. The relevant information is then used by us, to maintain records of financial transactions you have made with the RCR and to communicate with you on any matter relating to them and the provision of the service in general.
As stated in the event booking procedure, we also collect information on your dietary requirements which we pass to the venue caterer, and we will publish your name and hospital on the meeting delegate list, unless you indicate otherwise.
We may also use aggregate information and statistics for the purposes of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop the website and our services and may provide such aggregate information to third parties. These statistics will not include information that can be used to identify any individual.
We will not supply your information to third parties other than in the circumstances laid out above.
2. How we protect your information
The internet is not a completely secure medium. However we have put in place various security procedures as set out in this policy.
RCR complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. The RCR is the data controller and sole owner of personal data collected on this website.
We use up to date industry procedures to keep personal data as safe and secure as reasonably possible and to protect against loss, unauthorised disclosure or access.
RCR uses your information for the purposes of advertising, marketing and public relations and only for long as necessary for those purposes.
You can request a copy of the details that we hold about you. A small fee may be payable.

By submitting your information for online services you consent to the use of that information as set out in this policy. If we change our privacy policy we will post the changes on this page, and may place notices on other pages of the website, so that you may be aware of the information we collect and how we use it at all times.
Owing to the global nature of the Internet infrastructure, the information you provide may be transferred in transit to countries outside the European Economic Area that do not have similar protections in place regarding your data and its use as set out in this policy. However, we have taken the steps outlined above to try to maintain the security of your information. By submitting your information you consent to these transfers.
